After a disastrous stand-up show, comedian Nick Swardson promised to “make it up” to fans. The show ended up failing, with organizers refunding the audience. The show also saw him get booed and escorted off stage. Swardson is famous for his work on several Adam Sandler productions, such as “Just Go With It.”
The comedian, known for his role in the comedy series “Reno 911!,” performed at the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek on Sunday, March 3, 2024. However, the organizers cut his performance short and removed him from the stage. Viral videos of the event showed the crowd booing Swardson as they removed him from the stage.
In one clip of the show posted on X, formerly Twitter, Nick Swardson appeared promising to do an impression of Jason Statham from “The Beekeeper.” However, the clip showed him repeatedly saying, “Here we go,” as restless audience members boo and mock him.
“Do you want me to finish this or no?” he asks after more than a minute of setup. In response, the crowd shouted back, “No!” Swardson’s show wasn’t a hit with the fans, as he rambled on without getting to impressions. “You suck!” someone from the audience shouts in the clip.
