Gypsy Rose Blanchard is back in the spotlight with a new look and a new nose. She just made her first public appearance since her plastic surgery on April 5, 2024. Rose Blanchard was spotted at a Dollar General store in Cut Off, Louisiana, shopping with her stepmother.

She kept it casual, wearing gym shorts and a zip-up hoodie, with her hair tied back in a ponytail. Here’s all we know about her new nose.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Surgery Reportedly Cost $5,000

32-year-old Gypsy Rose Blanchard shared a photo where she had bandages covering most of her face after her plastic surgery. However, in this new shot, she’s wearing a single bandage over the strip of her nose, which looks noticeably smaller.

According to sources, the surgery cost her around $5,000, which is about average, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Sources close to Rose Blanchard said she had a combination of rhinoplasty and septoplasty. Dr. Jeffrey J. Joseph, a well-regarded surgeon in Louisiana, reportedly performed the surgery.

Her Surgery Would Be Documented in a New Lifetime Docuseries

Rose Blanchard revealed earlier that she was planning to have the surgery. While speaking to PEOPLE, she said it’s part of her personal transformation journey, both physically and emotionally.

The whole process will be documented in a new Lifetime docuseries, “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up,” which will be released this summer. “I’m currently going through a personal transformation journey, and that includes a physical one, too,” Gypsy told PEOPLE in a statement published on April 4.

“Wish me luck with my surgery, and watch the whole thing this summer on ‘Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.'” Blanchard’s physical transformation started about a month after she got out of prison. Notably, she served seven years for her involvement in her mom’s murder. In late January 2024, she showed off a new, shorter hairstyle.

“It’s never too late to start reinventing yourself, even if it is something subtle like a new hairstyle,” Gypsy wrote on Instagram at the time. “To All the girls, boys, and nonbinary…Enjoy life, express yourself in whatever creative ways that may make you happy.”
