In August 2024, four months after her death, TMZ revealed that the cause of Roth’s cause of death had been determined. Roth attained popularity on TikTok following her content, which is centered mostly around Hollywood gossip.
How Did TikToker Kyle Marisa Roth Die?
On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, it was reported that the office of the chief medical examiner for the state of Maryland had determined the cause of Roth’s death. According to the postmortem report obtained by TODAY.com, Kyle Marisa Roth died from cardiac arrhythmia, otherwise known as an irregular heartbeat.
The report determined that Roth had suffered from myocardial fibrosis, known as the scarring of heart tissue, which resulted in cardiac arrhythmia. Subsequently, the report also contained her toxicology results, which showed that she died with diphenhydramine in her system.

Additionally, mitragynine, an alkaloid used for pain management, was also found in her system. However, the report showed that there was no alcohol in her blood at the time of passing.
According to the medical examiner’s office, “an expanded toxicology panel sent to the Drug Enforcement Agency was performed, which did not reveal additional substances.” Subsequently, autopsy results determined that Kyle Marisa Roth died of natural causes.
Family members announced Roth’s death on April 15, 2024, sharing the sad news on their respective social media pages. The popular TikToker created an online following by sharing her opinions concerning celebrity news and happenings. Additionally, Roth was known for her catchphrase, “You want more? I’ll give you more.”
Kyle Marisa Roth Died One Week Before Her Death Was Announced
Although the announcement of Roth’s death came on April 15, 2024, it was revealed that she passed away earlier. According to Lindsay Roth, the TikToker’s sister, she had passed away a week before the announcement, putting her death between April 7 and 9, 2024.
Taking to Instagram, Lindsay shared an image of Roth, which she captioned with a heartfelt tribute. In the photo, Roth appears smiling, sitting in what seems to be a lake, while a dog sits on her lap.
Captioning the picture, Lindsay wrote, “My sister Kyle Marisa passed away last week. [As a family, we are still processing and deciding how to properly celebrate and honor her life.”

She continued, “We don’t know [what] happened yet. I know she touched so many people with her humor, intelligence, beauty, gossip, activism, athleticism, and more—she had so many gifts.” Subsequently, Roth’s mother, Jacquie Cohen Roth, took to her LinkedIn page to announce her daughter’s passing.
In the post, Jacquie shared an image of herself and Roth smiling as the sunset in the background. Jacquie revealed that Kyle Marisa Roth’s death has stirred mixed feelings as she and her daughters reminisce about her shared stories among themselves.
Julia Fox Shared Her Condolences
After news of Kyle Marisa Roth’s passing became public, American actress Julia Fox took to TikTok to share her condolences. Taking to Roth’s TikTok page, Fox commented that Roth’s death had left her devastated, although they had never met.
Describing her as a ray of sunshine, Fox stated that since she came across the news on TikTok, she had been in tears. Reacting to Fox’s comment, Jacquie said, “This is what we were laughing about—Kyle would have loved this.”
“I remember the day that Kyle said that Julia Fox watched her videos,” she added. “TikTok, I mean, the people—they were her community. They were her friends. They were so generous.”
