Passport to Paris collection
In celebration of the Summer Olympics, Krispy Kreme expanded its menu to include three French-inspired donuts early in July 2024. Known as the Passport to Paris collection, the donuts drew inspiration from French pastries. The Double Chocolate Éclair, Raspberry and Vanilla Crème, and Crème Brûlée donuts comprise the set.
The first is the Crème Brûlée donut which recreates the traditional crunch of the custard dessert. The glaze-less donut is filled with crème brûlée cream while being covered with caramelized sugar and frosting.
Secondly, the Double Chocolate Éclair donut was specifically created and designed for individuals in love with chocolate. This unglazed donut is filled with chocolate custard and topped with chocolate pearls and chocolate icing.

Consistent growth preceded an aggressive, and eventually unprofitable, public company expansion from 2000 to 2016.
In 2016, Krispy Kreme was once again under private ownership of the business under JAB Holding Company. JAB Holding Company is a private company that has its headquarters in Luxembourg.
