Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s relationship has been at the center of multiple cheating controversies over the years.
Khloé Kardashian had just come off her marriage to NBA player Lamar Odom when she met Tristan Thompson in 2016. After divorcing Lamar, Khloé started dating other guys before she was set up on a blind date with Thompson by her friend Brandon Jennings.
Khloé and Tristan kept their relationship private until September 2016. Tristan was expecting his first child with Jordan Craig at the time, but no one could confirm if the athlete was still dating Jordan when he met Khloé.
However, according to a source, Khloé and Tristan only dated casually at first, but that quickly changed. The reality star would go to Cleveland to be with Tristan, and their relationship became more serious.
The couple even celebrated Labor Day together in Mexico, and Tristan hung out with Khloé’s mom, Kris Jenner. Things between the couple seemed to be going very well after the pregnancy announcement.
They became Instagram official and even spent the holidays together in 2016. In January 2017, Khloé confirmed to James Corden that the couple had exchanged “I love you’s.” Just months later, Chloe disclosed she would marry Tristan if he asked her.
In July, Tristan and Khloé started house hunting for a place together in downtown Los Angeles. At the time, Khloé disclosed she was very happy at the prospect of living with the athlete. According to a source, the reality star loved spending every day with Tristan.
In September 2007, Tristan and Khloé shocked their fans when they announced they were expecting their first child together. According to a source:
“This is something Khloé has wanted for years and years and yet it’s more than that: she didn’t want it unless she was in the right relationship for it.”
Tristan’s First Cheating Allegations Scandal
After the pregnancy announcement, Tristan and Khloé dominated the headlines for the next couple of months. They even spent 2018 Valentine’s Day with Khloé’s family in anticipation of their child.
However, with mere days left for Khloé to give birth, allegations of Tristan cheating on her flooded the media. The athlete allegedly got up close and personal with a strange girl at a bar in Manhattan.
Another video showed the strange girl entering a hotel with Thompson at 5 a.m., which more or less confirmed the allegations. Later that same TMZ also released new footage of the NBA player kissing and touching two women.
Despite the allegations, Tristan was with Khloé when she gave birth to their daughter True Thompson in April 2018. Surprisingly, a month later, news emerged that Khloé had decided to stay with Tristan despite his cheating scandals. Speaking about her decision on Twitter, Khloé said:
“You have no knowledge of what goes on in our household or the enormous rebuilding this takes to even coexist. I’m proud of my strength. I appreciate your opinion and I hope you hold that same opinion to everyone else who has stayed in situations.”
Weeks later, things seemed to have improved between the two as they stepped out together multiple times. Yet, throughout this time, cheating allegations continued to follow Tristan around.
Tristan Cheats On Khloé Again
All looked to have been forgiven between Khloé and Tristan until ten months after the first cheating allegations. Then, the athlete was caught kissing Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods, at a party. Afterward, reports emerged that the Kardashians felt betrayed by Tristan’s actions.
An insider who was close to the family told news blogs that his actions broke the family’s heart. The insider stated:
“This time it hurts even more because the person who it was with is someone who knows very much what Khloé has gone through in the past year. Jordyn is like part of the family.”
After Thompson’s latest transgressions, Khloé broke up with him. The athlete’s serial infidelities became too much for her to bear. However, the couple continued to co-parent their daughter, True.
Tristan and Khloé Makeup and Breakup Again
For months after the Woods scandal, Tristan continued trying to get Khloé back, sometimes making flirty comments on her Instagram photos. However, Khloé reportedly had no interest in reuniting with the athlete.
Yet just months later, Khloé looked to have forgiven Tristan when she received a diamond necklace he bought for her. The reality star took to Instagram to defend her actions stating life was too short, and she did not want to carry around a hateful heart.
Khloé noted that she did not want to hold on to anything negative and was allowed to forgive. However, during the 2020 covid-19 pandemic, Khloé and Tristan were reportedly quarantined together.
Yet, during this time, Khloé became soft for Tristan again, and the two rekindled their relationship. Months later, Khloé and Tristan were caught getting very close and personal at Savas Oguz’s birthday party.
Also, reports emerged that the two were back together and even planning to welcome a second child. According to reports, Khloé would love to give her daughter True a sibling because she is at a perfect age.
In December 2021, things worsened again for the couple when Maralee Nichols claimed Tristan had fathered her child. A paternity test confirmed that Tristan was indeed the baby’s father. The news broke Khloé’s heart again because she thought Tristan had changed.
A month later, Tristan confirmed he was the child’s father and apologized to Khloé. The athlete noted that she did not deserve the heartache and the humiliation he had caused her. The athlete also noted that she did not deserve how he treated her over the years. He also apologized for all the pain he caused her.
Khloé and Tristan Welcome Second Child
Despite going their separate ways in 2021, Tristan and Khloé welcomed their second child via surrogate. The ex-couple had previously agreed to have Thompson serve as Khloé’s sperm donor.
The newest addition is a baby boy joining the first child, daughter, True. Before his birth, the couple kept the news under wraps to avoid judgment from people. However, after the baby’s arrival, a source told US Weekly that Khloé was over the money and happy to have her baby home.
Although the couple hasn’t named the baby yet, Chloe is said to have full legal and physical custody of the baby. The reality star is also focused on being a good mother to her kids and is not considering going into another relationship.
