The 43-year-old singer was due to perform at the Prudential Center in Newark on Tuesday night, October 8. However, just one hour before the concert, he announced it would be canceled.
Taking to Instagram, the singer pledged to compensate any fans who had tickets. He expressed his sincere remorse for having to postpone the show owing to an injury that prevented him from participating.
Timberlake further expressed disappointment at not being able to see everyone. Yet he assured them he was working to reschedule as soon as possible. He went on to promise that he would make amends to everyone and give them the show they deserve.
He further thanked them for their understanding and expressed his gratitude for their ongoing support. Fans rushed to the comments to wish Timberlake a speedy recovery. One person wrote that they were praying for him and expressing their love. Another wished him a speedy recovery, calling him “my prince.”

The police then released a statement detailing Timberlake’s accusations and behavior at the time of the incident, including that he declined a breathalyzer test and claimed to have only had one martini.
