Jeffrey Marty’s marriage to Stacy Dash lasted only a couple of years. As far as she is concerned, it ended right after she attacked him physically on September 29, 2019.
Dash was arrested on that day by police she had called to protect her from her allegedly violent husband. They put her in cuffs instead when they saw signs that Marty was the one who got attacked and charged her with domestic battery.
She was eventually released on a bail of $500, which Marty paid. Dash later filed for divorce, and she listed the date of separation as October 1, 2019. One day after, they were involved in the alleged altercation.
The messy affair made headlines because of their fame and because Jeffrey Marty would later come out with some exciting details about how he ended up with Stacy Dash. Keep reading to learn more about what he shared and who he is.
Who Is Jeffrey Marty?
Jeffrey Marty was Stacey Dash’s fourth attempt at marriage. One she most likely regrets, given all that has transpired between them.
Marty’s exact date of birth is unknown, and so are some other personal details about his early life and family. Unlike Stacey Dash, he is not an actor or entertainer but a lawyer. The pair crossed paths because of their political leanings.
Dash is an avid supporter of Trump and a known Republican, while Marty has supported the Republicans since he graduated from college. They met while Dash supported Trump and his campaign and bonded over their shared interest.
What Is Jeffrey Marty Famous For?
Marty is a lawyer with an active interest in politics. Aside from his marriage to Stacey, he is best known for creating a social media account for Steven Smith, a congressional rep for GA’s 15th district, naming himself as lead intern.
His fake account quickly went viral as Steven Smith became the first U.S. congressman to support Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign even though Georgia has no 15th district.
Marty was later busted, and it became clear Steven Smith was his creation. However, the account is still active, with Marty claiming it is now a “parody.” He does not think twice about using it to attack Democrats and people who don’t think much of Donald Trump.

Jeffrey Marty and Stacey Dash’s Marriage
Marty and Stacey Dash tied the knot in a Florida secret ceremony held on April 6, 2018. They have no kids together. However, Dash has two children: a son named Austin Williams and a daughter named Lola Lovell.
She became a stepmother to three of Marty’s children upon their wedding. Their wedding was not built to last, and it ended with Dash assaulting Marty on September 29, 2019, at her apartment in Pasco County, Florida, after they argued.
She pleaded not guilty, and the case was dropped at Marty’s request. He claimed she was arrested despite his protests. A year after the incident, their divorce was announced.
Dash announced their separation in April 2020 and then filed for divorce in June 2020. Marty also filed new court documents in response, requesting a judge to annul the marriage.
He also made some claims about how he ended up being married to Stacey Dash. Marty claimed he married her ten days after Stacey’s pastor suddenly proclaimed their marriage was God’s will.
Marty claimed his ability to consent to the marriage was influenced by “hypnotic prayer techniques.” However, he did not provide details on that.
Aside from Jeffrey Marty, Stacey Dash has married three other men. The Donald Trump loyalist was first married to producer Brian Lovell on July 16, 1999, but they divorced in the mid-2000s.
After him, she married British executive James Maby, CEO of Sports Logistics from 2005 to 2006. Her third husband was actor Emmanuel Xeureb. Their divorce was finalized in September 2011.
