Epstein Accuser Files Lawsuit Against Prominent Psychiatrist

Recently, filed documents revealed that the woman arrived in the United States around 2010 through a modeling agency. However, she could not work legally due to a lack of a visa. Subsequently, she claims she was introduced to Jeffrey Epstein, who allegedly began sexually abusing her and exerting control over her life. The plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, alleges she experienced severe emotional distress from Epstein’s abuse.

Fast forward to 2011, Epstein sent Jane Doe to Henry Jarecki’s home for psychological treatment. According to Doe’s lawsuit, she confided in Jarecki about her trauma. But guess what? Instead of offering medical assistance, Jarecki allegedly gave her an expensive wristwatch and showed her around his home. The most shocking part was that the home tour concluded in his bedroom, where she claimed he raped her.

In her lawsuit, Jane Doe mentioned that she informed Epstein about the alleged rape. In response, Epstein said that he had an arrangement with Henry Jarecki, and she was to continue her sessions with him. Afterward, she claims Jarecki moved her to a new apartment in New York City adjacent to his residence. There, she alleges that he subjected her to continuous sexual abuse and trafficking for several years.

According to her allegations, Jarecki, then in his 80s, consumed testosterone pills to enhance his libido and forced her into sexual acts. He even threatened to charge her rent if she refused. He also allegedly exploited her precarious immigration status as a tool of manipulation and control. The lawsuit further alleges that Jarecki compelled her to engage in sexual activities with other men. At the same time, he watched and trafficked her between New York City and his private Caribbean island. Jarecki, a billionaire and co-founder of Moviefone, is mentioned in Epstein’s notorious black book and flight logs.

Lawsuit Alleges Psychiatrist Collaborated with Epstein in Abusing Women

Thanks to the lawsuit, now we know that Epstein sent other young women to Jarecki for private treatment, supposedly to keep Epstein’s sexual abuse hidden from public scrutiny. We can say Jarecki is audacious because he was pretty aware these women were under Epstein’s control, yet he abused them without fear of being reported.

Initially, the Wall Street Journal reported on these allegations, noting that Jarecki was accused of repeatedly raping the plaintiff, referred to as “Jane Doe 11,” from 2011 to December 2014. In response, Jarecki’s attorney, Sarita Kedia, informed CNBC that the allegations were false and baseless. Kedia asserted that Jarecki never engaged in abusive conduct with the complainant or anyone else.

Currently, Jane Doe seeks unspecified monetary damages for sexual battery, sex trafficking, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Brad Edwards, the accuser’s lawyer, supported the plaintiff, stating the importance of the lawsuit a courageous young woman filed.

Edwards and co-counsels David Boies and Sigrid McCawley hope the case will encourage other victims to come forward. Edwards further revealed that Jane Doe 11 had previously received a settlement from a compensation fund for Epstein victims in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Moreover, the lawsuit notes that Jane Doe 11 and Jarecki entered into a tolling agreement before the filing. The agreement allowed her to file the complaint under the New York Adult Survivor’s Act despite the law’s expiration in November 2023. This act provided a limited window from November 24, 2023, to November 24, 2024, for individuals to file civil actions for sexual misconduct beyond the statute of limitations.
