Although divorced, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonnet remain united in their love for their two kids who are already on their path to Hollywood stardom
For years, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet were the definition of relationship goals, having met in the early 2000s, through mutual friends. They geared off their romance thereafter, tying the knot in 2017, after several years together.
By the time the love birds chose to walk down the aisle, they were already parents to two children, including a daughter, Lola, and son, Nakoa-Wolf.
Additionally, Momoa built a loving relationship with his stepdaughter and actress Zoe Kravitz, Bonet’s child from her previous marriage to Lenny Kravitz. Sadly, the power couple’s years of marital bliss were short-lived.
In early 2022, Jason Momoa confirmed his split from the mother of his two kids, adding that their love carried on. He also enjoined the public to give his family privacy to deal with the coming changes amid the tough separation. For the former love birds, what mattered was their kids, and their ability to “teach our children what’s possible.”
What Is Known About Jason Momoa’s Kids?
Jason Momoa is a father of two children, including daughter Lola Iolani Momoa and son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa. He shares the two kids with his former wife of five years Lisa Bonet.
Additionally, the “Aquaman” star is a loving stepfather to his ex-wife’s daughter, Zoe Kravitz, who is also an actress, famous for her role in movies like “The Batman,” where she played Catwoman.
Lola Iolani Momoa Is The Oldest Of Jason Momoa’s Two Kids
Jason Momoa welcomed his first child and daughter Lola Iolani Momoa on July 23, 2007, while still dating his ex-wife Lisa Bonet. Although the couple did not tie the knot until ten years later, Lola enjoyed a happy life growing up with her parents in Los Angeles, California.
The actor has been open about his fondness for his daughter, who he describes as his angel. In one of his social media posts, the father of two admitted that Lola’s birth marked the happiest day of his life.
Over the years, the star has grown fond of his little girl, who has since attained teenagehood. Explaining how he planned to navigate life as a dad to a teenage daughter, Momoa once said:
“I’m not going to do well with it. I’ll just hate it if she brings home some [expletive] bad boy. I’m like, ‘If you find a man who treats you better than I treat Bonet, Good luck!”
It appears Lola’s future partner has one hell of a standard to live up to.
Momoa’s Youngest Kid, Nakoa-Wolf Momoa
One year after their daughter’s arrival, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet welcomed their son, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha. The youngster joined the family on December 15, 2008, bringing forth the Christmas spirit.
Like his dad, the now-14-year-old rocks long curly hair that gives him a rugged appearance. He seems to be a fan of bright colors, especially the color pink, which he could be seen wearing in several public appearances, including his sister’s 11th birthday. That’s something else he seems to inherit from his dad.
Zoe Kravitz
A worthy mention, Zoe Kravitz became a part of Jason Momoa’s life in the early 2000s after he began dating her mom, Lisa Bonet. The actress, born on December 1, 1988, is the offspring of Bonet’s marriage to singer Lenny Kravitz.
Despite their nine-year age gap, Kravitz and Momoa have developed a close relationship over the years. The “Game of Thrones” alum has stepped out in a show of support to his stepdaughter on various occasions.
In one of his latest posts, Momoa praised his stepdaughter’s performance in the 2022 film, “The Batman,” where she played Selena Kyle, the catwoman.
Thankfully, Momoa’s divorce from the 34-year-old’s mom has not created a rift in the relationship, as the two remain close. Likewise, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have also remained close, sustaining their friendship amid the divorce, while co-parenting their kids.
