Media Personality Paris Hilton said yes to her beau of one-year, Carter Reum in February, and the couple sealed the pact with a massive engagement ring.
Since her February 13 engagement to Carter Reum, Paris Hilton’s diamond sparkler has remained the most talked-about engagement ring on the block.
Reum popped the big question during a romantic getaway on a private Island to mark Hilton’s 40th birthday. Aside from making the event a significant one by proposing on her birthday, the choice of engagement band was also symbolic to the couple’s romantic life.
During an appearance on “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” the bride-to-be showed off the emerald-cut diamond band in its full glory. She also gushed about how much thought and efforts her fiancé put into coming up with the ring.
Going further, Paris Hilton explained the inspiration behind the engagement ring, designed under the auspices of jeweler, Jean Doussett. She divulged:
“It’s inspired by the Grand Palais in Paris. It has a beautiful love story. It’s called The Paris.”
Interestingly, Doussett, the jewelry’s designer shares a connection with legendary French jeweler, Louis Cartier, who was his great-great-grandfather. That, coupled with its many other features made the one-of-a-kind piece unique in its own rights.
Explaining some of the ring’s features, the socialite told Seacrest and his co-host it featured “15 diamonds going around” on the outside. The inner part of the rare piece sported the letter “P” with a sapphire.

Hilton first gushed about the sparkler’s design on her YouTube Channel shortly after her engagement, sharing a video of the design process. The clip featured a hand-painted sketch of the extraordinary jewelry, with its basic details highlighted.
Iconic jewelry aside, Hilton and Reum’s love story has come a long way since their first hookup in 2019. Speaking on her happiness over the recent engagement and beginning a new life with her beau, the podcast host divulged:
“I had a chance to stay home and reevaluate what was important to me. My relationship and the time I spent with Carter was a gift. I’m excited for our next chapter.”
Carter Reum also shares his to-be wife’s excitement. He admitted in an interview that he “couldn’t be more excited and lucky” to have her in his future.
