A few days after the news of her court victory, Britney took to her Instagram page, where she dazzled her fans with the most hearty news. The “Oops! I Did It Again” crooner shared a romantic clip of herself and Asghari.
The duo looked nothing short of radiant, cozying up indoors and filming each other. Britney had a bright smile on her face and an equally bright rock on her finger. She raised her fingers, flicking them before the camera.
The award-winning singer continually showed off her ring, letting fans know she and her man were ready for the next step. At one point, Asghari asked Britney if she liked the engagement band, and she answered in the affirmative before giggling.
Asghari manager Brandon Cohen made it known to People that he felt delighted to confirm that the celebrity duo was engaged. Britney and Asghari dated for four years before now.
She Has Deleted Her Instagram
The series of events after the court settlement also saw Britney taking a break from social media. A few days after the proposal news, the “Toxic” singer deleted her Instagram page.
This caused quite an uproar among her fans, but a source assured the fandom that things were fine. The source noted that Britney sent a powerful message by taking off her Instagram page.
The insider added that the 39-year-old was in a “happy and great place,” The source added that by leaving social media, Spears utilized silence which could be a “powerful thing.” To quell any thoughts that there might be outside influence, the source affirmed that Britney solely decided to leave Instagram.
The source also noted that the “Overprotected” crooner took the break to pause a bit and take in all the progress she has achieved’ This comes on the heels of the conservatorship cancellation. Britney later confirmed that she was doing well in a now-deleted Twitter post.
The 13-Year Conservatorship Comes To An End.
Earlier this month, Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, filed a petition to end the arrangement. Jamie cited two of Britney’s court visits where she had demanded that the Conservatorship should be terminated.
The petition read: “Recent events related to this conservatorship have called into question whether circumstances have changed to such an extent that grounds for the establishment of a conservatorship may no longer exist.”
The petition further stated that Britney, a mom of two, wanted to take control of her life “without the safety rails of Conservatorship.” The statement shared that Britney wants to be able to make her own decisions on medical care, finance, and personal life.
