Hallmark actress Mamie Laverock has been reported to have fallen from the fifth floor of a Canadian hospital. Her parents disclosed that the actress was fighting for her life after surviving the accident. They informed the public about it.
Laverock, a 19-year-old actress came into the limelight after playing the role of Rosaleen Sullivan in “When Calls the Heart.” On Saturday, May 11, 2024, Laverlock was checked into a Winnipeg hospital in Canada. Although the reason for the admission remains undisclosed, sources claim that it was for a life-threatening emergency. Subsequently, after her parents created a GoFundMe account, she was moved to St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver.
On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, the Laverock’s parents took to their social media page to give updates, revealing that the actress was previously in intensive care following her admission to the hospital. However, on Sunday, May 26, 2024, while she was being transferred from intensive care, Laverock fell from a balcony walkway.
The family admitted that the actress sustained serious and critical injuries. Consequently, she had to undergo several surgeries, which were very extensive and left her on life support.

On the GoFundMe page, her parents, Nicole and Rob Compton, wrote that the family was experiencing a difficult situation at the time.
They said that although Mamie is in intense pain, she is fighting for her life and refusing to give up. They appreciate the love and support that the public has shown them. The account has now raised a total of $15,216 so far.
Hallmark Media issued a statement expressing their sadness about the whole incident. They said that as members of their community, they extended prayers and thoughts towards Laverock and her family during this trying time.

On Instagram, her co-star, Erin Krakow, asked for support for her family, requesting that they donate if they. She informed her followers that she had made donations to the hospitalized actress. Krakow plays the role of Elizabeth Thorton in the hallmark series, “When Calls the Heart.”
Hannah Newmarch, who played Molly, the mother of Laverock’s character in the show, shared the crowdfunding link on X. A devastating time for all who cared for Mamie. Please help if you can. They need all the support they can get to make it through this,” wrote the actress.”
The company that manages St. Paul’s, Providence Health Care, did not disclose any facts about the incident. They gave the reason for their non-disclosure as patient confidentiality.

According to Providence Health Care spokesman Shaf Hussain, the organization is investigating the incident to find out what happened. Hussain said that an internal critical incident review is taking in situations like this so they know how to prevent such from every happening.
The family gave no response when reached for comment. However, Laverock’s mother has come to clear the air about a suicide allegation, saying her daughter did not deliberately fall from the balcony.
