It appears marriage is in the future for singer Gwen Stefani and her fiancé, Blake Shelton. As per new information obtained from a source, the future may be nearer than most expect.
In an exclusive statement, a source shared details about the couple’s plans to begin their lives together after sustaining their romance for five years.
Stefani and Shelton, who began dating in 2015, became engaged in October, marking a huge milestone in the couple’s lives. Shelton proposed to his sweetheart with a diamond sparkler at his Ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
The long-anticipated engagement left fans longing for the lovebirds to take the relationship a notch further. Hence, the excitement over the news that the duo was ready to tie the knot. The source disclosed:
“This won’t be a long engagement. There is a reason why Blake proposed now. They are both ready to get married.”

He went on to reaffirm his love for the star before confirming that she said yes. Prior to their engagement, many already considered the pair a married couple due to their years together.

Back in 2018, the mother of three disclosed to Natalie Morales of “Today”, that as much as she wanted Shelton to become her husband for real, there was “zero pressure.”
Going further, she explained how she and Shelton bonded over their past relationship trauma, which eventually made them best friends.
As a result, she knew he was the one for her, whether or not marriage came into the picture. During the interview, the icon also asserted that Shelton was her “forever.”
