Nearly three months after welcoming their baby, Megan Fox and MGK have finally revealed their baby’s name for the first time in an Instagram post. MGK, aka Machine Gun Kelly, made the post, which included an adorable video of him serenading their infant with a ukulele. In the caption of the post was the baby’s name and MGK thanking his ex-fiancée for the ultimate gift.
Since the birth of their baby girl in March 2025, the former couple has been embracing this new chapter of parenthood. Before now, many fans initially speculated that the baby’s name was “Celestial Seed.” MGK, however, debunked the rumor in a follow-up post.
“Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we’re ready,” he posted on his Instagram Story.
What Is the Name of Megan Fox and MGK’s Baby Girl?
Megan and MGK named their baby girl Saga Blade Fox-Baker. This was revealed on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, by MGK in an Instagram post captioned…
“Saga Blade Fox-Baker ❤️🔥,” MGK wrote. “Thank you for the ultimate gift @meganfox.”
MGK, 35, accompanied the announcement with an adorable video of him playing the ukulele to his daughter, Saga Blade. Although she’s not shown in the frame, one could see her in the corner of the clip rocking back and forth in her baby bouncer.
A source told PEOPLE that Megan and MGK chose their baby’s name because ‘it felt right to them.’
“The name Saga, which means ‘story’ or ‘tale,’ really felt right to them. It’s a new chapter—full of meaning and hope,” the source shares.
Saga is a Scandinavian girl’s name that, according to The Bump, means “prophet” or “seeing one.” English speakers will recognize the name as the word for an epic story.
The source also revealed that while the former couple live separately, they ‘spend a lot of time together at Megan’s house.’ This comment confirms how the couple are in a good place with co-parenting, despite the bitterness of how their romantic relationship ended.

Are Megan Fox and MGK Back Together?
Megan Fox and MGK have every intention of peacefully co-parenting their baby girl together, but we doubt they are getting back together. The pair first went public with their romance in June 2020 and got engaged in January 2022. Since then they’ve broken up and made up several times but eventually called it quits over the Thanksgiving weekend in November 2024.
This happened after Megan found “upsetting” material on MGK’s phone. A short while after, she announced on Instagram that they had a baby on the way.
When announcing they were pregnant, Megan shared a heartfelt message, making reference to her previous miscarriage. “Nothing is ever really lost,” she captioned the November 11 post. “Welcome back.”
A source told PEOPLE that MGK was “there in the delivery room when their daughter was born.”
“He’s been great—really trying to be the best dad he can,” the source continues. “The baby is adorable, and Megan’s doing really well.”
They also explained that although Megan and MGK are “not living together,” Megan is “letting” MGK “stay with her so he can spend as much time with the baby as possible.”
The source added, “They don’t have a set co-parenting schedule in place at the moment. They just want to celebrate this time and enjoy their baby girl for now.”
Even though the couple called off their two-year engagement, they still put up a united front. “I was born to be a dad,” MGK told E! News in May 2025. “Yeah, it’s my purpose.”
When Was Megan Fox and MGK’s Baby Girl Born?
On March 27, Megan Fox and MGK welcomed their baby girl, Saga Blade Fox-Baker. This is Megan’s fourth baby, her first with the American rapper and singer. MGK shared the exciting news on his Instagram with a black-and-white video of him stroking her fingers at the time.
He captioned it, “She’s finally here!! Our little celestial seed. 3/27/25”
The arrival of their baby girl comes nearly two years after Megan shared that she suffered a miscarriage.
“I’ve never been through anything like that in my life,” Megan shared with Good Morning America in November 2023. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately… trying to navigate ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”
The Transformer star actress is already mom to sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, whom she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green. MGK is also dad to a 15-year-old daughter, Casie, from a previous relationship with his ex, Emma Cannon.
Now together, they have their daughter Saga Blade, who will always connect them in some way.

How Have Fans Reacted to the Baby Name Reveal?
Before the announcement of their baby’s name, many fans have been desperate to know what it was and have repeatedly asked on their social media profiles for updates on the newborn while speculating on what it could be.
During a GQ interview way back in 2021, Megan Fox and MGK whose real name is Colson Baker, discussed middle names. And the Bad Things rapper revealed that he didn’t actually have one.
The pair then joked about what he would want it to be, with Fox throwing a bunch of names out.
She said, “Can I guess what your middle name would be? Blade? Sword, Katana, Chaos, Hectic, Violence, Rebel.” MGK then tried to cut Megan off after she said Blade, insisting that was the name he would choose.
Fans online found it rather cute that the rapper was able to give his daughter the middle name that he would give himself.
