On Friday, October 11, 2024, Drake‘s son, Adonis Graham, turned 7, and his birthday was celebrated with a SpongeBob-themed party. On Sunday, October 13, 2024, Drake took to his Instagram page to share a post about his son’s milestone.

Does Drake Have a Hidden Daughter?

Drake has denied all speculation and rumors about having a hidden daughter. During the rap feud that rocked 2024, Kendrick Lamar, in his diss track, “Meet the Grahams,” accused Drake of abandoning his daughter as he expressed sympathy for her.

The lyrics said, “Dear baby girl, I’m sorry that your father is not active inside your world. He doesn’t commit to much, but his music, yeah, that’s for sure.” Lamar continued, “Or at your eleventh birthday, singin’ poems with you / Instead, he be in Turks, payin’ for sex and poppin’ Percs / Examples that you don’t deserve.”

Lamar went on to paint Drake as an absentee father, accusing him of hiding his daughter from the world for over ten years. However, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, the claim was debunked by a source close to the artist, who stated it was untrue.

Subsequently, on Sunday, May 5, 2024, Drake came out to address the accusation, using a combination of humor and defiance. Taking to his Instagram stories, he wrote, “Nah, hold on, can someone find my hidden daughter, please and send her to me… these guys are in shambles.”

What Is Drake’s Son’s Full Name?

Drake welcomed his son, Adonis Malik Graham, on October 11, 2017, with French artist and former adult film star Sophie Brussaux. As a result of his efforts to keep his personal life private, the news of Adonis’ birth was met with aroused interest and speculation.

However, he has shared more of his fathering experience over the years, deepening the public discourse on Adonis. When Adonis was born, Drake and Brussaux were involved in a legal battle regarding his paternity.

Following the resolution of Adonis’ paternity in 2018, Drake and Brussaux improved their relationship and became successful co-parents. His 2021 song “Champagne Poetry” further confirmed this when he proclaimed himself co-parent of the year.

They share custody of Graham, who alternates between living with Brussaux in France and visiting Drake in Toronto and Los Angeles. He has always included Adonis in his career, from appearing in his music videos to creating the cover art for his 2023 album “For All the Dogs.”

Following his father’s footsteps, Adonis released his first rap song, “My Man,” at his sixth birthday party in October 2023.

Who Started the Fight Between Drake and Kendrick?

While the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake can be traced back to 2013, the exchange didn’t start until 2024. Drake and Lamar started their music relationship in 2011 after they collaborated on Drake’s “Buried Alive Interlude” and Lamar’s “Poetic Justice” in 2012.

However, their relationship took a hit in 2013, when Lamar was featured on Big Sean’s song “Control.” During his verse, Lamar took shots at several rappers, including Drake. However, Lamar addressed the feature, stating that his verse was meant to be seen as friendly competition.

Over the next few years, they grew distant, with both of them officially denying every rumor of a falling out. Following Drake and J. Cole’s 2023 song “First Person Shooter,” Lamar responded by dissing them on “Like That” on March 22, 2024.

In Drake and J. Cole’s song, J. Cole claimed that he, Drake, and Lamar are the “big three” in contemporary rap music. However, in “Like That,” Lamar refutes the claim before declaring himself the best and dissing Drake.

Subsequently, on April 5, 2024, J. Cole responded with the diss single “7 Minute Drill.” However, J. Cole apologized and removed the song from streaming sites a week after its release. Then, Drake dropped the tracks “Taylor Made Freestyle” and “Push Ups” in April 2024.

However, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” ended the feud, with fans declaring him the winner.
