Looking to set the record straight, popular podcaster Bobbi Althoff has responded to criticism about her appearance. Althoff took to social media to share a video addressing the criticism she has been subjected to.

In the video, Althoff explained that her change in appearance was caused by postpartum weight gain, not cosmetic procedures. She continued that, contrary to speculation, her larger face was the result of weight gain after breastfeeding her 2-year-old baby.

However, she clarified that her only surgical body modification was a filler in her upper lip.

Bobbi Althoff Opens Up on Her Postpartum Weight Gain

On August 27, 2024, Bobbi Althoff posted a video to her TikTok account responding to disapproval of her appearance. In the video, Althoff sat in her car with the seatbelt on while speaking and facing the camera.

She stated, “I am so tired of all the comments of people saying, ‘She ruined her face’ and ‘She can’t even move her face; it’s so frozen; she has so much filler.’

She continued, “So let me just set the record straight real quick. The only thing I have done to my face is that I have a little bit of filler in my upper lip, okay? That is it. I do not have cheek filler, but you guys seem to think I do because I put on a lot of weight.”

Althoff further explains that when she stopped breastfeeding in 2023, she put on about 20 pounds, with most of it going into her face. She mentioned that the issue was people commenting on her appearance unnecessarily.

The podcaster said, “I just don’t understand because I don’t know a single successful person or normal person who leaves hater comments under anything.”

“I try not to care too much about negative comments, but it’s like, Can a girl gain some weight in her face without you guys f—ing saying, ‘She has cheek filler’?” Althoff added. “And can a girl be insecure about her upper lip and get some f—ing lip filler without you guys f—ing commenting on it? We all know I did it; we can all see it.”
