The Cast of the “My Super Sweet Sixteen” Show: What Have They Been Up To?
Believe it or not, some of the “My Super Sweet Sixteen” cast used their fame from the show as a stepping stone to land other reality shows. Good examples include Cher Hubsher, who has also featured on TLC’s “Mothered,” and Darnell Robinson, who was seen on Bravo’s “The First Family of Hip Hop.”
Below are some of the memorable names from the hit show and what they went on to achieve after it ended.
Natalie Viscuso
Natalie Viscuso was cast in season 1, episode 3 of “My Super Sweet 16.” She had a Hollywood-themed birthday party at one of her dad’s nightclubs in La Jolla, California, for a thousand of her friends. However, Viscuso refused to invite freshmen girls to her party “because they cause drama.”
Viscuso is no longer that petty teenager. She is now the vice president of television for Vertigo Entertainment and has been romantically linked to actor Henry Cavill since at least 2021. The couple share one child together.
Sophie Mitchell
Sophie Mitchell featured in season 2, episode 1 of “My Super Sweet 16.” She was famous for publicly uninviting her friend Maggie to her soiree while handing out invitations. It was a Moulin Rouge-themed party held in West Palm Beach, Fla., for 100 guests.
In 2021, Maggie talked about the incident on TikTok. According to her, the fight was real, and she was blindsided by the “attack.” “I had no idea that I had been uninvited to Sophie’s party,” she said. “We had gotten into a fight earlier in the day when I called her out [about] changing her personality when these cameras were around.”
Mitchell became a law student and graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. She is now a managing attorney at the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Alexa Victoria Jane
Alexa Victoria Jane made season 3, episode 13 of “My Super Sweet 16” memorable as she hosted an Arabian-themed birthday bash in Miami and received a Lexus SC430 and a Rolex watch from her parents. Of course, there was also a lot of drama.
For instance, she and her mom got into an argument about table centerpieces that left her in tears. Alexa now resides in Ecuador with her dog, Buddha. She enjoys surfing, dancing, and doing yoga.
Darnell Robinson
Darnell Robinson, the grandson of Sugar Hill Records founder Sylvia Robinson, was featured in season 3 of the show. He was known for putting together a “Coming to America” themed party in Harlem, N.Y., and bringing Rihanna as his date.
Robinson is still proud of his fete. “No one has topped my party yet!!” he told The Shade Room in 2019. He leveraged his fame from the show and went on to star in Bravo’s “The First Family of Hip Hop” and is now the president of Sugar Hill Records and FYB Records. He is also a parent now, having welcomed a daughter named Maijoi, whom he shares with hairstylist Mary Stephanie.
Cher Hubsher
Cher Hubsher was featured on the second episode of the show’s fourth season. She hosted a Mardi-Gras-themed party in Palm Harbor, Fla., and made her grand entrance on a float.
After “My Super Sweet 16,” Cher and her mom, Dawn, appeared on TLC’s “Mothered” and went on to launch a podcast titled “Chattermouth.” She is now married to plastic surgeon Jared Gopman, and the couple shares one child: her daughter, Belle May.
Erin Wright (now Ebie)
Erin Wright, who now goes by Ebie and is the daughter of the late Eazy-E, was featured in season 4, episode 5 of “My Super Sweet 16.” She hosted an all-white-themed party but turned up in red at a mansion in Los Angeles and received a Porsche Cayenne as her birthday gift.
Ebie, who now has more than 130,000 Instagram followers, is a singer/songwriter like her late dad. She has appeared on Food Network’s “Worst Cooks in America” and E!’s “Relatively Famous: Ranch Rules.”
Teyana Taylor
Teyana Taylor appeared in the eighth episode and fourth season of the show. She hosted an ’80s-themed birthday bash at a museum in Harlem, N.Y., and got a BMX Bicycle and a Range Rover. Her party also included a special guest appearance by Pharrell Williams, who had recently signed Teyana to his record label.
Teyana eventually got taken under Kanye West’s wing and achieved fame for her performance in his music video for the song “Fade” in 2016. She was married to NBA star Iman Shumpert from 2016 to 2023, and their union was blessed with two daughters: Iman “Junie” Tayla Shumpert Jr. and Rue Rose Shumpert.
Audrey Reyes
Audrey Reyes appeared in season 5, episode 1 of “My Super Sweet 16.” She was famous for hosting a haute couture-themed quinceañera in Miami and for her Lexus meltdown, which earned her the nickname “pouty princess.” What Reyes does to make ends meet now is unclear; however, she seemingly got married in 2022.
Demetrius Mosley
Demetrius Mosley, Timbaland’s son, appeared on season 8, episode 1 of “My Super Sweet 16.” He hosted a Saint Tropez-themed birthday bash in Miami.
