Pete Davidson is back in rehab. Sources disclosed that the former Saturday Night Live star recently checked into a facility after another relationship hit the rocks. Davidson was romantically involved with The Bachelor alum Maria Georgas, but an insider revealed they had gone their separate ways, prompting the Pete Davidson rehab visit.
However, another source has denied the reports. An insider told US Sun that the comedian and actor “checked into rehab in Florida.” The source also specified that Davidson “flew in on a private jet.” The precise date of his alleged rehab visit is still unknown, but the source stated that it happened “recently.”
“He’s in pretty bad shape this time around. He’s not in a good place,” the insider also stated. According to the reports, Davidson’s rehab visit seems like a fallout from the alleged breakup with Maria Georgas. However, Georgas has denied rumors that she was romantically involved with Davidson.
According to Georgas, she and the SNL star were never an item. She stated that they “never dated” and that she was just “friends with his sister,” Casey Davidson. She wrote the rebuttal on her Instagram, stating, “Never dated Pete. False rumor. I’m friends with his sister. Case closed.”
She also denied the reports that he visited a rehab. “Can’t believe this s**t; it’s very insulting to his recovery and my mental health. He’s literally home,” she disclosed.
If the reports of a recent rehab visit are true, then it means it happened after his SNL return on November 2 and his public outing with Machine Gun Kelly some days afterward. But does Davidson have any history with rehab centers?

Did Pete Davidson Go Back to Rehab?
A source has revealed to newsmen that Pete Davidson recently checked into rehab. According to the insider, the comedian did so shortly after his relationship with his alleged girlfriend, Maria Georgas, came to a halt.
Although Georgas has denied any relationship rumors or that Davidson went to rehab, this wouldn’t be the first time the SNL star would visit such a facility. In July 2024, Davidson, 31, checked into rehab to treat some health challenges.
Davidson sensed that his career was taking its toll on his mental health after he did more than 200 live stand-up comedy shows nationwide. He also participated in a number of movie projects. One of these was his second comedy special, “Turbo Fonzarelli,” in collaboration with streaming giant Netflix.
According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE magazine at the time, mental health has “always been a priority” for the star. Previously, Davidson had shared with the public about his sobriety journey. His battle with borderline personality disorder and severe post-traumatic stress disorder have also been public knowledge.
Pete Davidson Rehab Visit 2023
While speaking to the outlet, the source also stated that Pete Davidson’s decision to attend to his health has made his family proud. The July rehab visit was coming after he took treatment for PTSD and borderline personality disorder in 2023. “Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues. His friends and family have been supportive during this time,” the source also stated.
Davidson later confirmed his 2023 rehab visit during a September comedy show with Jon Stewart and John Mulaney in New Jersey. “I am fresh out of rehab, everyone,” he announced to the crowd who gathered at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Ettes Arena. “I got that post-rehab glow. Seventh time’s the charm,” he added.
The rehab visit came after reports of a split from then-girlfriend Madelyn Cline. The pair broke off their relationship just after less than a year. According to another source, they amicably ended things. News that Davidson and Cline were in a relationship first emerged in September 2023. However, the pair declined to confirm the news.
They finally did, although indirectly, when they began spending time together in public. This included a number of PDAs, including locking hands while arriving at an October 2023 SNL afterparty in New York.

What Has Happened to Pete Davidson?
A lot has been happening in Pete Davidson’s life over the years. One of which is his challenge with substance abuse, which he has been pretty open about. Sometime in the summer of 2024, he told the world about his struggle with weed. This was going on even after the 31-year-old, whose estimated net worth is $8 million, attained victory over other drugs.
During the “Pete Davidson: Rehab Tour” show in New Jersey, he told the audience, “I can’t quit [weed use] yet.” He also went on to say, “It’s all I have left. I did coke and ketamine and f**king all the pills and all that s**t. All I have is weed left, so it’s almost over, but I’m holding on for a bit longer,” he stated.
Pete Davidson also made the news when he cleaned up most of his tattoos. The “King of Staten Island” showed off his clear skin during a public outing on October 23, 2024. Fans couldn’t help but wonder at his bare arms, which used to be covered with ink. The surprise resulted from his resolve to embark on a tattoo removal journey.
He announced the decision in 2020 when he disclosed that he would be “burning” them off with lasers. Laser removal is reportedly a more painful process than getting the tattoos. The procedure works by breaking the ink into particles. Afterward, the body’s immune system begins to wipe them off.
