On November 9, 2024, another image was shared showing the group performing a version of The Strokes’ “Last Nite.” The video was well received as it showed the group nailing every note of the rock group’s 2001 single. Earlier in April 2024, Paltrow mentioned Moses’ musical interests in an Instagram post celebrating his birthday.
Captioning the post, the actress wrote, “I admire how deep you go into areas that interest you, becoming an expert in synths from the 80’s and the French new wave. There is such a magnificent world of ideas and harmonies inside that beautiful head of yours.” Moses Martin’s singing ability is no surprise, given his father, Chris Martin, is the frontman of the popular band Coldplay.

In September 2006, in an interview with Access Hollywood, Gwyneth Paltrow opened up on why they decided to name their son Moses. Speaking with Billy Bush, Paltrow said, “Well, I think he’s the man to live up to it! When we were pregnant with Apple, if she was a boy, she would’ve been named Moses. We just always had the name. Moses, to me, is just such an amazing name.”

As of 2024, Moses Martin is a freshman at Brown University, and his mother, Paltrow, has found the change challenging. On October 21, 2024, Paltrow took to her Instagram Story to share her story about becoming an empty nester. She said, “On the one hand, incredible sadness. A deep sense of impending grief. On the other hand, this is exactly what should be happening.”
Paltrow continued, “Your kids are supposed to be, you know, young adults who can achieve and cope and make connections and be resilient. That’s exactly what you want. And that means they leave the house.”

In June 2020, Paltrow appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon through a Zoom call. However, the highlight of the interview came when Moses Martin, who was 14 then, stopped by and greeted Fallon.
During the exchange, Fallon inquired if Moses was still interested in music. Responding to the question, he said, “Yeah, I’m doing all that I can, trying to stay happy by finding whatever is entertaining. I’m really into music. Right now, I’d say I’m playing guitar the most; it used to be piano for a while, and now I’m doing guitar lessons again.”
