It has been three years since Netflix’s “The Kissing Booth” released its third installment, ending the story of Noah Flynn and Elle Evans. While some cast members of “The Kissing Booth” have kept their dating lives public, some have flown under the radar. The Kissing Booth film series is a three-part American teen-romantic comedy that began in 2018 and ended in 2021. The movie follows the romance of Noah Flynn and Elle Evans as they navigate their relationship amidst problems.

The movies, based on Beth Reekles’ novels of the same name, examine high school, friendship, dating, and teenage popularity. Here are the cast and their real-life partners.

Joey King as Elle Evans

In 2018, Joey King was cast to play Elle Evans in Netflix’s teen romance comedy “The Kissing Booth.” King originally gained attention for her performance in the family comedy “Ramona and Beezus,” which also starred Selena Gomez. Subsequently, in 2020 and 2021, King reprised her role as Elle Evans in the sequels of Netflix’s “The Kissing Booth.”

However, when it comes to her romantic life, King has a quieter relationship than Elle Evans. King and her husband, Steven Piet, began dating in 2019 after meeting on the set of “The Act” in 2018. Their relationship remained quiet until February 2022, when the couple informed the public about their engagement.

Subsequently, on September 2, 2023, they married in Mallorca, Spain, after conducting a legal ceremony in Los Angeles in August 2023.

Like her romantic life, King has found additional success since leaving her role as Elle Evans. Between 2021 and 2024, the actress has appeared in over five movies, including “Bullet Train,” “Despicable Me 4,” “A Family Affair,” and “Uglies.”

Joel Courtney as Lee Flynn

In “The Kissing Booth,” Joel Courtney brought the character of Lee Flynn, Elle’s best friend, to life. Between 2019 and 2021, Courtney was a screen regular appearing on the Netflix teen-romantic comedy. On February 14, 2020, he made national headlines after it was announced that the actor had proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Mia Scholink.   

The announcement came on February 19, 2020, after the couple took to their Instagram pages to share details about the proposal. Subsequently, on September 27, 2020, Courtney and Scholink married in an outdoor ceremony in Arizona.

Since leaving his role as Lee Flynn, Courtney has appeared in two movies: “Jesus Revolution,” which came out in 2023, and “Players,” which came out in 2024.

Molly Ringwald as Mrs. Flynn

Played by the legendary Molly Ringwald, we were given an insight into what an amazing mother looks like in Mrs. Flynn. After her divorce from Valéry Lameignère in 2002, Ringwald married Panio Gianopoulos, a Greek-American author and book editor, in 2007.

Ringwald and Gianopoulos welcomed three children together throughout their relationship, which spanned as far back as 2002. Their daughter, Mathilda Gianopoulos, was born in 2003, and their fraternal twins, daughter Adele Georgiana and son Roman Stylianos, were born in July 2009.

Jacob Elordi as Noah Flynn

Although Noah Flynn is the controversial character in “The Kissing Booth,” Jacob Elordi, who portrays Noah, is less dramatic. Before his appearance on the Netflix drama, Elordi had appeared in a few films, most notably “2 Hearts” and “The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee.” 

Elordi and his girlfriend, Olivia Jade Giannulli, originally dated in 2021 before ending things. However, in late July 2023, they were confirmed to be re-exploring their relationship.

In early June 2024, Elordi and Giannulli were seen together in Paraggi, Italy, and again in Idaho with Giannulli’s parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, in July 2024. Despite breakup rumors in January 2024, a source close to Elordi and Giannulli confirmed that their relationship was getting serious.

While they tend to keep their relationship private, the two have made some public appearances together. Their last public appearance came in September 2024, when they were seen hugging at Giannull’s sister’s birthday party.

Since leaving “The Kissing Booth,” Jacob Elordi has appeared in several movies and series, the most popular being ”Euphoria.” Elordi’s other film roles are “Deep Water,” “The Sweet East,” “Saltburn,” and “Priscilla.”

Stephen Jennings as Mike Evans

Mike Evans, the second key adult in the story, strives to be the best father he can be to Elle. Stephen Jennings, who plays Mike Evans in “The Kissing Booth,” has been in the business for a long time. He has appeared in several TV dramas and miniseries, including “Traders,” “Labyrinth,” “The Indian Detective,” and others.

Although Jennings keeps a rather quiet life away from the media, the actor is married to actress Susan Danford. Jennings and his partner Danford have appeared together in two movies, ”Land of Thirst” and “League of Glory.”
