In the usual Tom Cruise fashion, Cruise was sighted flying together in London with Victoria Canal, his new friend. Additionally, it was a sight to behold as the two friends were seen flying in style.
The Incident
On Friday, July 12, 2024, the 62-year-old action movie star and 25-year-old singer-songwriter were observed flying together. According to pictures by press members, Cruise was sitting in the pilot seat as he flew the helicopter to a helipad in London. When Cruise landed the aircraft, he came down from the pilot seat before helping Canal get out of the helicopter.
However, the friendly gesture did not stop there, as Cruise assisted Cannal in zipping up her tangled coat. Subsequently, Cruise was seen leading the singer off the helipad. In the picture that was released, Cruise wore his signature sweatpants, a black puffy coat, and a dark T-shirt. Canal wore her coat in a dark green sweater and oversized jeans.
A previous Encounter
However, this is the first time that Cruise and Canal would be flying together. On July 9, 2024, during the premiere of the movie Twisters, Cruise and Canal arrived in a helicopter. Consequently, a very happy Canal posted a video of their flight to the premiere on her Instagram page.

In the video, Cruise was seen wearing sunglasses and a headset as he flew over an empty field. Canal captioned the post, “Not Tom Cruise flying me & my brother in a heli to the @twistersmovie premiere !!!!” Additionally, Canal posted a picture of herself in the backseat wearing a headset. She attended the event with her brother, Nick Canal, and Cruise, posting selfies of the three of them together.
How Cruise and Canal Met.
In reaction to the July 9, 2024 post by Canal, fans and colleagues of hers had flocked to her comment section to ask how she met Cruise. Additionally, other comments asked why the 62-year-old movie star decided to give her and her brother a ride.
Canal said she initially met with Cruise at the backstage of the 2024 Glastonbury Festival. She stated that during their conversation, they talked about their invitation to the premiere of Twisters and their plans to attend. Consequently, Cruise offered her an invitation to come with her, stating they were going to arrive in a helicopter.
Cruise and Canal attended Coldplay’s 2024 Glastonbury Festival, which took place in the United Kingdom on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Canal had performed the song “Paradise” with Coldplay at the event.
According to Canal, Chris Martin, co-founder of Coldplay, had Facetimed her and asked if she would be interested in performing the song with the band. Canal stated that when she got onstage, she had blacked out from the excitement and does not remember much from her time on stage. However, she said she remembers meeting so many A-list celebrities, including Paul McCartney.
