Not many people like Donald Trump, and for understandable reasons. However, his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump — one of those who denied the results of the 2020 election —seems to have just as many haters. If not more.
Recently, she highlighted what she thinks makes a big difference between Republicans and Democrats. Nobody knows what she was thinking when she made the statement.
However, we know what people are thinking about her words, and it is not flattering. Responses to them have included mockery and criticism online.
Lara, who became the co-chair of the Republican National Committee in February, made the statement about two weeks ago at right-wing Turning Point USA’s convention in Detroit. But people have yet to forget it.

According to her, some people get their news from non-credible sources and, as a result, have been “bamboozled.” But just a little bit.
Lara pointed out that Trump is far from perfect and that people don’t have to love everything he posts online. However, she urged them to look closely at his policies, which include deporting millions of undocumented immigrants, before making her claim.
She claimed that the difference between Republicans and Democrats is that one side (Republicans) speaks “in truth and facts.” Meanwhile, the other side (Democrats) are too emotion-oriented.
Lara’s statement ended with her saying people need to return to the truth and the facts. This is a bold claim, but people on social media find it hard to believe.

Her father-in-law, who is a Republican, reportedly made over 30,000 false claims while he was in the White House. He has also lied many times since he left office.
Of course, netizens did not shy away from informing Lara of it. She also may have been less enthusiastic about making such a claim if she had foreseen Trump’s misrepresentations and exaggerations during the recent chaotic Presidential debate.
In the live broadcast, the current President, Joe Biden, and Trump went at each other like spiteful kids. People caught Trump in many lies during the debate. But Biden was too busy trying to keep a straight line of thought to even fact-check him.

Netizens have since reminded Lara that Republicans also lie, almost as much as Democrats, and that her statement was just another misrepresentation of things.
