An election data expert has spoken about the 2024 presidential election and President Joe Biden’s polling result. The “FiveThirtyEight” founder has suggested that Biden might withdraw from the election because of low disapproval ratings. The election data expert has revealed that the Democratic candidate’s rating has dropped to an all-time low.
On Monday, June 10, 2024, Nate Silver took to his X page to discuss Biden’s polling numbers. Silver is the founder of FiveThirtyEight, a data analysis company. Silver had announced that Biden’s approval rating had fallen to 37.4%, a record low for the Democrat. The poll results were released on Sunday, June 9, 2024, by Silvers Analysis Company.
Although Silver admitted that Bidden exiting the races was a huge risk, he believed that there was a bigger risk if he did not. He said that while he was not certain if Biden had reached a point where running was a risk, he still believes that he should ask.
Silver claimed that the Democrats would have a better chance in the election if Biden stepped down as its flagbearer. He said that, in his opinion, the Democrats would have had a better chance if Biden had announced he wasn’t seeking reelection in 2023.

He said that had Biden taken this decision, the party would have been about to organize a more inclusive primary. Consequently, it would have granted voters a chance to choose a candidate among prominent Democrats across the nation. He wrote that in 2014, nobody would have guessed that an 81-year-old president would be seeking reelection.
Additionally, he stated that, after an 8% increase in inflation, he was surprised that the race was close. when he wouldn’t be an underdog in 2014. In response to his tweet, critics asked why he was concerned with Biden and not Donald Trump. They had referred to the fact that, despite Biden’s age, there was less of a four-year gap between them. \

Silver had replied to critics, saying that he believed both Trump and Biden should exit the presidential race. Silver said, “‘Trump should drop out too!’ is such a weird dunk on people who are pointing out that Biden has big challenges.”
He claimed that the Republican Party would be better served by choosing a different candidate that would benefit the nation. He also said that should the Republicans choose a different candidate, Biden would lose by 7 points.
According to reports, Biden and a number of his top advisors are choosing not to adhere to or believe the poll numbers. Additionally, several individuals in Biden’s camp believe that the poll numbers will change before the election on November 5, 2024. However, as it stands, according to poll data, Biden is trailing behind Trump in the presidential election.

The president has been seen traveling across the country to campaign for votes. His wife, Jill Biden, had given an interview about how his campaign team was doing everything in its power to get across to every American.
According to a recent poll, Virginia is a dead race between Trump and Biden, a state that Biden carried by ten points in 2024. The survey result was released on Thursday, June 6, 2024. The survey puts them at 48% of the vote apiece, comparing Biden and Trump head-to-head in the state.
