In a tragic turn of events, an up-and-coming Texas rapper has passed away following her removal from life support. The rapper was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit following a fatal drug overdose.
Channing Nicole Larry, known more by her stage name Enchanting, was a 26-year-old rapper from Fort Worth, Texas. On Monday, June 10, 2024, rumors about Larry’s admission to the ICU circulated, with some reports that she had passed away. However, her sister had denied rumors of her death, although she admitted the rapper was not in the best condition.
However, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Larry’s sister confirmed his death, after things took a turn. Her sister, identified as Kay Jay, informed the public that Larry had been fighting for life up until the morning of her death. Kay Jay had taken to her X account, where she posted a picture of them, writing that she loved Larry and adding a broken heart emoji.
Additionally, Larry’s suspected boyfriend, known as Lilcj Kasino, took to his Instagram to express his grief and celebrate her life. Kasino had claimed that Larry’s family had decided to take her off life support. He posted a picture of the late rapper in a studio booth, which he captioned with a rather long note.

One of Larry’s management team members had contacted The Shade Room about the incident and the rapper. The member stated that Larry had appeared at her house in an effort to withdraw from her drug use. They claimed they did everything in their power to help, but it did not do much.
In reaction to the news of her passing, her former label boss took to his Instagram to extend his sympathy. Gucci Mane wrote, “So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant.” Additionally, Manaleo, a rapper, posted about her tragic passing, expressing her grief in an optimistic fashion.

According to reports, the doctors had seen no improvement in Larry’s condition, which was further deteriorating, and were forced to take her off life support. After the news became public, fans and supporters had flocked to their social media pages to commemorate the late rapper.
A fan wrote that they are still in disbelief over her death, claiming they were her day one fan. Another fan had written that the news should not be true as it would be hard to swallow.

The rapper who is Texas based started her music career after high school in 2016 at the age of 18. Larry had gotten then attention of Gucci Mane who signed to his label, 1017, in 2020. Larry was feature on Gucci Mane 2020 album titled Gucci Mane Presents: So Icy Summer appear on the song “No Luv,” along with Key Glock and the late Big Scarr.
However, in October 2023, Larry announced that she was leaving the label after 3 years. After her exit from 1017, Larry released the Maiya The Don collab “He Can’t Reach” in October 2023. Larry had been teasing new music on social media, and looked likely she was ready to release it.
