Halloween has gone down in history as one of the most anticipated holidays and arguably, everyone’s favorite. Aside from moments spent tricking and treating with family and friends, the holiday avails many the opportunity to explore their creative sides.
Despite the restrictions posed by the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Americans somehow rocked the festivities in style, making it as memorable as any other year.
Sure enough, celebrities went all out in coming up with jaw-dropping Halloween costumes. Some of these outfits broke the internet over the weekend, with fans trooping over to have a glimpse of what their favorite superstars rocked for Halloween. Here are ten of the most glaring.
1. THE WEEKND
The Weeknd retained his reputation as one of the most creative Halloween costumiers with his spot-on nerdy look. The 30-year-old Canadian singer kitted up as The Nutty Professor, the title character in the movie played by Eddie Murphy. He achieved his looks thanks to make-up designer Mike Marino’s creative input.
2. LIZZO
Popstar, Lizzo, wowed her fans with a never-before-seen costume no one would have anticipated. The icon dressed as the legendary fly perching on politician Mike Pence’s head during the vice presidential debate. She took it a notch further with hilarious videos shared on her Instagram account.
3. KIM KARDASHIAN
This list would not be complete without at least one of the Kardashian sisters because, over the years, they have proven themselves the queens of Halloween. This year was no different as the SKIMS CEO, Kim Kardashian, captured her fans with her “Tiger King” costume. While she dressed as Carole Baskin, her children disguised themselves as tigers as they clustered around her.
4. HALSEY
Songstress Halsey upped her game this year dressed as Victoria from “Corpse Bride.” The creative blue look was undoubtedly worth the thousands of likes it garnered on social media.
5. KENDALL JENNER
“Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star Kendall Jenner showed off her perfect physique in an all-black Pamela Anderson costume. Her outfits, inspired by the 1996 movie “Barb Wire,” came complete with a call to “Vote.”
6. GABRIELLE UNION
Gabrielle Union, her husband, Dwyane Wade, and their daughter, kaavia, stepped out for Halloween in style. The trio disguised as s’mores, with little Kaavia posing as the gooey marshmallow center in the sandwich. Union dressed up as Hershey’s chocolate bar, while Wade served as one of the outer graham crackers. Tasty!

Celebrity couple Ciara and Russell Wilson stormed the festivities as Busta Rhymes and Janet Jackson. The couple’s recreation of the 1998 music video earned them accolades from various stars, including singer Beyonce.

Vanessa Hudgens, the “High School Musical” star, thrilled fans with a collection of gritty Halloween outfits. From her sexy elf costume to her dressed as a furry puppy, the actress set the internet on fire, leaving fans craving more.
9. KELLY RIPA
Television personality Kelly Ripa and her husband, Ryan Consuelos, embraced the Halloween spirit with mind-blowing costumes. The star shared a series of photos on social media displaying their various outfits. However, none of the pictures showed their full length. In the caption on one of the posts, she admitted to cropping the photos at the crotch so fans could “thirst buckets.”

Make-up mogul Kylie Jenner did the unthinkable this Halloween. She donned a King Cobra costume for the all-time favorite holiday. The outfit featured a full-length green and brown printed jumpsuit and a dramatic headgear with long fangs protruding down to her chin. Kylie’s spot-on makeover completed the cobra effect.
